Class 37 D6732 passes Weybourne Mill on the North Norfolk Railway, with the 1111 Sheringham to Holt - 15/04/2023.
A very enjoyable day spent back up at the North Norfolk Railway. However, believe it or not, this was not our original choice of destination. We were originally going to Burnham Market horse trials, but with cross country cancelled, Lorraine suggested we spend the day up here instead & I was too only happy to agree to the change of plan!
Even better for me, was the fact that despite it being a steam gala, the resident Class 37 diesel locomotive was also out & about!
Unlike the previous Good Friday. the weather was superb & once the last of the cloud cover had dispersed, we were treated to unbroken sunshine for the rest of the day. We combined lots of walking around Sheringham Park, with a walk along the Norfolk Coast Path into Sheringham for lunch. In between the walking, we spent a couple of hours in the afternoon on the bridge at Dead Man's Hill watching & photographing the trains.
