Neue Donau | New Danube

Unlike the Old Danube, the New Danube is a flowing waterway and therefore around 2 degrees cooler and correspondingly more refreshing. Taken at around 100° F in the shade and impending thunderstorms.

The New Danube "is a side channel of the Danube in Vienna, Austria, situated parallel to the east of the main river. It was built as part of the flood protections of the city." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Danube

In the background you can see the Donauturm in the centre left, to the right of it very small the minaret of the Islamic Centre Vienna, further to the right the high-rises of Donau City. The bridge is the Nordbahnbrücke, the Northern Railway Bridge.
