Maria am Gestade

Maria am Gestade ("Mary at the Shore") is a Gothic church in the 1st district of Vienna, Am Gestade ("At the shore") is the name of the staircase and the square below it. The street in the foreground is called Tiefer Graben ("Deep Ditch"), because it used to be a deep stream valley.
