The Capuchin Crypt
The so-called Charles Vault with the sarcophagi of Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor from 1711 to 1740, on the front right, his wife Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel opposite on the left and Joseph I, Emperor from 1705 to 1711, at the back in the middle.
Charles was the younger brother of Joseph, both were the sons of emperor Leopold I. Charles VI and Elisabeth Christine were the parents of Maria Theresa.
