Going For It
This beautiful American Bald Eagle jumps from the sacred tree, heading right for a twenty three inch Pike recently iced about twenty yards away. It took her a bit to get off of the ice with the Pike, but finally got airborne. My brother and I just watched with equal anticipation as she struggled, then became a victor with the Pike in her grip. With dense fog and getting quite dark, the photos of her struggle did not come out, unfortunately.
