Passing The Train Wreck.
After fixing an issue with CN SD70I No. 5604, CN Track Geometry train No. 999 is back on the move northbound near Whistler, BC. This was once the site of the 1956 derailment on the PGE. Following the derailment, a local logging company helped the railway clear the damaged equipment from the tracks. Now, eight boxcars remain in the forest and have become a famous tourist attraction in Whistler.
