Clearing Snow
Probably the most interesting thing from my recent trip to Prince George was seeing a BCRail Jordan Spreader in 2025! My friends and I were filling up gas in town before starting the mind-numbing three-hour drive to Valemount, when I heard W936 contacting the RTC for as much track north as they could get. After hearing this, we decided to head north finding the train at Odell, where they would have to clear for northbound coal C764. Note the 'British Columbia Railway' lettering coming through underneath the BCRail and still sporting a two-tone green K5H, although it sounds like a car horn. Here W936 led by BCRail spreader No. 996301 is clearing snow as they approach McEwan. It definitely felt like a trip back in time to the BCRail.
