Wet Coast
CN’s five-times-a-week Squamish local heads north into the trees near the end of its trip. Leading with CN SD75I No. 5793, it brings a short train of 11 cars to the Squamish Terminal. Later, they would pull and return to North Vancouver with 9 cars. They were also instructed to pull a GATX pole car that was spotted by mistake at the Squamish Terminal. Perhaps the car is bound for the Mount Currie pole yard, north of Squamish, on the mothballed section of the line. Hopefully one day CN will resume freight traffic on the Squamish and Lillooet Subdivisions.
