This is the main hall of Jinding (Golden Top) Temple. No, the main hall is not golden; there is a golden pavilion near the entrance of this temple that houses a golden Buddhist sculpture. It was a calming experience. In order to visit this temple, one had to climb up a mountain with a dense forrect (refer to the previous picture in this set). The fog and coldness up here created a mysterious atmosphere. However, on a clear day, one could gain a very beautiful view of Yunnan province, the so-called 'Eight Great Sceneries' - unless I remembered the name wrong.
