Everyone out for the day, so I got a taxi to take me to a nearby “park with a river, please”.

“There’s a Lake, over there...” Some taxi drivers have such a drôle sense of humour 😂

I am hopelessly rubbish at driving, here...Automatic!!! I engage the clutch, but it’s the brake and lookout windscreen!

I spent a glorious three or four hours just whiling away the morning and afternoon, snapping off shots of anything I fancied.

Most of my birdie shots - grackles, cardinals, downie woodpeckers, red-wind blackbirds, and American robins are really bad. I was very excited to see so many, I’m afraid...and cyclists, walkers, joggers, skateboarders and children, CHILDREN, kept appearing out of the trees, specifically to scare away the wee birdies...😁

On the way out of the park, I saw this little guy flit in front of me. I followed him, like a stalker...Thrilled!
