She has a skin infection on her neck, we brought a sample to a laboratory, the doctors said it needs surgery and that it would cost 30 to 40,000 Afghanis (420-560€). But I wouldn’t even be able to spend 5,000 Afghanis, how could I find 40,000 Afghanis for the operation? So it remains like this. It will keep on growing and create problem later. Definitely it will harm, it may block her vessels or affect her brain. It will create a problem but we only can rely on God, we don’t have any other choice.”

„Moje dcera je už tři roky nemocná, ano, jsou to tři roky. Má na krku nějakou infekci pokožky. Když jsme vzali vzorek do laboratoře, doktoři řekli, že musí jít na operaci, která bude stát 30 až 40 000 afghání (11 300 -15 000 Kč). Já ale nemůžu utratit ani 5 000 afghání, tak kde bych vzal 40 000 na operaci? Zkrátka to zůstane tak, jak to je. Infekce se bude šířit a později z toho bude problém. Časem začne škodit, možná ucpe cévy nebo napadne mozek. Určitě z toho budou nějaké komplikace, ale musíme se spoléhat na vůli boží, nemáme žádnou jinou možnost.“
