Precision Locomotive Leasing stores a collection of locomotives on the Shenandoah Valley Railroad's property. Recently, something no one expected came to pass. Buckingham Branch (another shortline that interchanges with SV) leased out a Western Maryland painted SD40 and for one day it ran on the lead of a test train on the SV. I, and many other photographers, did not pass up the chance to see a Western Maryland, C&O painted, and B&O painted locomotive trio together.
