Service Learning Project #5 through Heal the Bay at Santa Monica Beach South Pier: A Heal the Bay volunteer representative gave a short talk on ocean pollution, its negative impacts on ocean wildlife and our communities and the positive impact volunteers have and the difference they make on keeping our beaches and ocean clean. We then picked up several bags full of trash during our Beach Clean-Up project down towards Venice and back up Santa Monica Beach South Pier.
