VISTA Training Day #5

Service Learning Project #3 at Union Rescue Mission on Skid Row: We provided lunch service to the community members living on the streets of Skid Row. We learned that Union Rescue Mission averages about 2,300 meals per day serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their greatest need for volunteers is during breakfast and weekday lunches so we were able to fill that need for a day.
