Renault 4CV

The 4CV was manufactured by Renault from 1946 until 1961. It has suicide-doors in front and regular doors in back.

The 4CV was nicknamed "La motte de beurre" (the lump of butter, Butterklumpen) in France and "Cremeschnittchen" in Germany. This was due to the combination of its shape and the fact, that early deliveries used surplus paint from the German Army vehicles of Rommel´s Afrika Korps, which were sand-yellow.
