Oct 19. Tech week. The last rehearsal.
Tonight was the last rehearsal for the play "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" I've been there every night this week, grabbing actors and crew whenever I could throughout the rehearsal. Earlier this week, I had maybe 60 seconds tops to get a head shot (in costume), sometimes having to hunt down performers between scenes. Finally finished up tonight with not a moment to spare, before getting my last required photo - the pit orchestra. There was a 5 minute intermission between act 1 and act 2, and that was my opportunity. Of course, several pit crew members had to take restroom breaks, and by the time I had them assembled on the stage, the PA was announcing "All cast and crew into positions! Act 2 is starting in 1 minute!". Needless to say, I didn't have time to finess any poses, so I got one serious pose, and then this one not-so-serious pose, before actors crew swarmed the stage.
