SLR Ballast Extra
Being that Wednesday is a normal off day for SLR's 90's, they have been utilizing the 393 crew to spread the stone on the east end of the Berlin Sub. I'm sure the track gang was excited to have 3014 left in Berlin for them last night, as they didn't seem too comfortable piling into the standard cabs in past weeks. The crew was on duty at 16:00 and had to cab in from Lewiston, so it was dusk by the time they rolled out to start spreading. I knew the conditions were not ideal given the obvious, but it was nice to see a train moving in daylight in this area.
