Newbury, VT

Today was spent in the Northern Kingdom of Vermont, mainly focusing on the Washington County portion of Vermont Rail System. Many of the great spots on the Conn River line are now very difficult to capture. In Newbury, VT we stood on the shoulder of Rte 5 with enough elevation to see the valley below, and luckily it is one of the more open locations today. NPWJ rolls south with a small seven car train in tow, closing in on their destination of White River Junction, VT. C&P GP-40-2 306 was doing the hauling today, with WACR 202 in charge of the counterpart.
