Hildda Desert at Dusk
Hello Everyone, I hope you all are recovering from the New Years hangovers and the "Did I really do that?" phone calls from your best friend the following afternoon.
Today was just suppose to be a short half day at the office, but turned out to be almost a full day, that is life and it happens, happy to have all the year end stuffs done. After I left for the weekend, I went to Whole Foods stocking up on essentials and now arriving home, can lock myself in the house while the snow comes and buries me alive, lol. The weather is making me wish for more warm and dry days, which made me think of Palm Springs, or Las Vegas, I have not been to Vegas in many years but once took a road trip with friends to help move a friend out there. The drive was
a few days of adventure, nothing like stopping for gas in a two building dusty town in the middle of no where, while a couple of locals drinking beer sitting in the back of their truck check you and your girl friends out as you cling to your purse to go inside the station to buy water and peppermint patties. lol The best moment was how in the last stretches of the trip just entering Nevada how beautiful the desert was at the setting sun in front of us, the desert had a glow and a starkness to it, It was one of the moments you go quiet as you stare out the window thinking on things that you keep secret and close to your heart. Then awhile later we were in the lights of Vegas, I can not say anything more, because well you know, what happens in Vegas st...you know! :)
The memory is what inspired me to do a photo this evening and now that I can not stop yawning, I am off to crawl into bed and fall asleep.
Have a wonderful evening and a warm safe Saturday tomorrow, thank you for allowing me to share my photo with you! :)
XOXO,
Hildda
