Cove by Durdle Door, St. Oswald's Bay, on Dorset's World Heritage Jurassic Coast, England.

Poem.

Secluded,

sublime,

superb.

This myriad British archipelago

of over six thousand

sceptred isles,

in excess of ten thousand miles of coastline,

conceals hundreds of such entrancing coves,

but none more captivating, alluring than

those of our south-west peninsula, including this,

the magnificent marvel that is our World Heritage, Jurassic Coast .

Translucent, turquoise and azure waters,

intimate crescents of comma-like beaches,

towering chalk and limestone cliffs,

caves, arches, stacks and skerries.

Visitors from all parts of the world

happily plod the coastal path from Lulworth

to absorb the endearing vistas of this coastal fringe.

Every step is vindicated.

Oh, to be alive in Dorset!!!
