Above the chasm of the Great Glen, at 05:26, Farriers of heaven are forging a golden dawn. Sparks from heaven and an indigo underworld, Inverness-shire, Scotland.
Commentary.
I saw this magnificent sunrise of indigo-blue, violet, deep
purple, yellow and orange between 05:00 and 05:15 on the 30th. July, 2008.
From the summit an amazing view of over 70 miles
spread from Ben Nevis, in the south-west,
to the lights of Inverness, in the north-east.
The huge chasm that includes the depths of Loch Ness
could be seen, end to end from the summit two miles south-west of here.
Truly momentous!!!
God is an artist.
He loves the blues of the shadowed hills
and the bottle-green hues of the tree-lined horizon.
But most of all,
at the magical time of dawn,
He loves to mix the purples, creams, yellows and whites on His sky-palette, back-lit by our golden orb,
as wisps of cloud dance in the stratosphere.
