Loch Carrie reflects the Autumn attire of the Munros of Glen Cannich in all its glory, Inverness-shire, Scotland.
Poem.
Deep glens meandering westwards towards the Hebridean Sea,
fringed by symmetrically domed peaks.
Reflected in glassy lochans that amplify the mountain vista.
Shores shrouded in the golden apparel of autumnal grass and bracken.
Proud peaks – sentinels – monarchs perched within a golden throne.
Peering down on the three gems of North-West Scotland –
Farrar, Cannich and Affric.
Three of the most beautiful valleys imaginable.
