Colours, colours, colours.

White Chalk cliffs.

Green, lush turf.

Vivid blue water.

Yellow, orange,

red, brown,

black and white

Clays and Sands

stand in vertical bands.

Iron oxidising at different rates

make this Geological palette.

Reddish brown heathland

high on the hills above Alum Bay.

A kaleidoscope of colour around a splendid bay,

warmed by the sun in High Summer.
