Be Still

Moraine Lake at sunset. On Canada day there was no better place to watch the sun setting then at Moraine Lake. The colour of the lake with the peaks at the back illuminated make it such a stunning destination. The short walk up the hill the lookout is nothing strenuous. There is a lot of space at the lookouts to find your perfect spot. I preferred the lower area as it was always a lot less crowded and left a nice open view of the lake. Although it was a windy day, the breeze stopped enough at this moment for a nice reflection in water.
