644th RSG Awarded the Safety Streamer
It's always a good day to celebrate safety! The 644th Regional Support Group was awarded the Army Safety Excellence Streamer for Fiscal Year 2017 (the time period 1 October 2016 to 20 September 2017). Maj. Gary Cooper, S4 OIC and Safety Officer, with Col Dominic Wibe, Commander, attached the safety streamer to the unit's guidon on April 5, 2018. The safety signifies NO ACCIDENTS attributed to human error for the entire year. According to Maj. Cooper, safety is the foundation of Soldier resiliency. "The streamer reflects the effort of the leaders and Soldiers of the 644th RSG and down trace leaders and Soldiers doing the right thing in incorporating safety into their planning and operations," he said. "This results in a team that is ready to accomplish any mission with preservation of the force."
