A vintage Burda pattern, palazzo pants in a lovely Nicole Miller linen-tencel blend from Joanns. They fit well, the extra 1-1/2" added for length probably wasn't needed but it did help give a nice deep hem, just over 3". Of course, black is a bear to photograph!.
I tried different tops, and decided on the tank found buried in my closet since it was pretty warm.
I'd like to find a cropped top that is fairly close fitting in the waist to highlight the fit of the pants.
These can easily be dressed up or down. And are super comfy, even though they are high waisted.
The main downside for me is that tucking shirts in can leave a bumpy silhouette from the excess fabric. If the bottoms were in a heavier fabric that might be less noticeable, but you may sacrifice the nice drape.
