may 11 #mmmay15 belcarra and claudia
Already made up another Sewaholic Belcarra, this time in an extremely luxe silk twill(?) from Britex Fabrics in SF. My lovely friend, Joy, chauffeured me around while in CA this past Nov. and found this fabulous fabric in the remnant section for me. Stated that it's from Italy and was around the $100/yd mark- eek!
It's beefy and the color is totally my cup of tea- so nuanced and teetering from tertiary into mud. Managed to squeeze a top out of this yard and half, used some scrap rayon for the bias neck binding.
My Claudia pants are going to become a mainstay before the weather heats up too much- that stretch bengaline is so comfy. Really need to print out a smaller size and see if that helps with the fitting woes- definitely has potential for a TNT pattern.
