More things probably went wrong than right with this dress. It was meant to be all yellow..which in retrospect might have made me look like a daffodil. Not sure if the polka dot makes it too twee, like some kinda Disney character, or if it's passable for a 30-something to wear. It's not a hard pattern, seems I just couldn't figure out directions- the waist had me scratching my head. Until I figured you had to allow for the FULL waist measurement, not half (as it lay) when measuring your elastic. D'oh! Once that was figured out I felt like a dumb bass that it was giving me fits. Surely the next one will be easy breezy!
