Leaving on a jet plane
Whenever I have a camera in my hand and I hear a plane overhead, I reflexively point the camera skyward and click. I don't really know why I do it because 95% of the time the shots don't turn out and, anyway, it's not like I'm a big fan of planes or anything.
As I look at this plane I think of how this time last year I was thinking of taking a trip to the UK this fall. Then CoVid came along. I'm not sure if I will ever be willing to fly again for when I look at this I cannot imagine sitting crammed into a seat with a bunch of people crammed in around me. :-/
