Nature's sculpture
This is our most recent snowfall, about 13 cm, sitting atop a park bench. The lengthwise "slats" are where the slats in the bench are and the snow drops through. The two widthwise ridges are at the solid parts of the bench but why they curve upward and look so solid, I have no idea. I don't understand the physics of it. Or perhaps it's magic. But I'm not schooled in that either. :-)
