Under Ice

It's wonderful

Everywhere, so white

The river has frozen over

Not a soul on the ice

Only me skating fast

I'm speeding past trees

Leaving little lines in the ice

Who else remembers the weird but wonderfulness of Kate Bush? I loved "Wuthering Heights" but "Under Ice" was good too. I was reminded of it as I walked along the river a couple of weeks ago and got this glimpse of the ice.
