This is a late afternoon shot taken from McArthur Island and looking along the mainly frozen river toward downtown Kamloops.

 

A couple of days before this I had been at roughly the same place on the island and witnessed the amazing sight (amazing to me anyway) of a coyote running very quickly down the middle of the frozen river.
