The large corrugated covering in steel and glass. Called "La Vela", built in a period from 2003 to 2005, in some places, exceeds even the 30 m of height, forming "craters", "waves", "dunes" "," hills "and is supported by metal columns, which are divided into six branches allowing huge changes. The structure conceived by Massimiliano and DorianaFuksas establishes an architectural path of lightness, vastness and visual continuity along a linear development already predisposed to future growth. The constructive design of glass and reticular steel used for the Vela is a 36-meter-high dome resembling an oceanic wave, which covers the large hall and congress hall of the Service Center.
La grande copertura ondulata in acciaio e vetro.chiamata “La Vela”, costruita in un periodo che va dal 2003 al 2005, in alcuni punti, supera anche i 30 m d'altezza, formando "crateri", "onde", "dune", "colline" ed è sostenuta da colonne di metallo, che si dividono in sei rami consentendo sbalzi enormi. La struttura concepita da Massimiliano e Doriana Fuksas stabilisce un percorso architettonico di leggerezza, vastità e continuità visiva lungo uno sviluppo lineare già predisposto alla futura crescita. La concezione costruttiva in vetro e acciaio reticolare utilizzata per la Vela è una cupola alta 36 metri simile a un'onda oceanica, che copre la grande hall e la sala congressi del Centro servizi.
