The lack of winter rains and the torrid heat that tapping Italy have provoked droughting phenomena.
"By the days the river Tiber is dry because of lack of water since it is not raining for long. The levels have therefore gone down, and although they have not been reached, fortunately, high peaks of decline are many of the criticalities that are likely to produce further degradation effects along the river and the banks. "The dry," continues the note, "the mucillin phenomena have emerged, debris of every kind, from the carcasses of the motorcycles to the abandoned batteries and discharged by somebody. Any material that produces a high pollution rate.

“Da giorni il fiume Tevere è in secca per mancanza di acqua, visto che non piove da tempo. I livelli sono dunque scesi e anche se non si sono raggiunti, fortunatamente, elevati picchi di abbassamento molte sono le criticità che rischiano di produrre ulteriori effetti di degrado lungo il fiume e sugli argini». «La secca - prosegue la nota - ha fatto emergere i fenomeni di mucillagine, sono riaffiorati detriti di ogni tipo, dalle carcasse dei motorini alle batterie abbandonate e scaricate da qualcuno. Tutto materiale che produce un alto tasso di inquinamento.
