The English Garden
When I was very small, all English gardens in suburbia followed - or seemed to - follow the same plan.
Borders to the side, a large lawn area and a path to the end of the garden where either a shed or a green house (or both) would reside.
A walk around my area proves this not to be the case today, with so many sadly under concrete.
