This is one of the DVD authoring logos I saw when I was little. My first DVD with this logo was Ice Age: The Meltdown (which I'm getting on BD). You can find this on many Universal DVD’s and Blu-rays from 2006 until 2016, 2006-2009 Fox and MGM releases, and 2008-2011 Summit Entertainment releases (DVD’s only, Blu-rays don’t have this logo)
Fox (along with MGM releases) used this logo until August 2009.
Universal used this from United 93 to The Danish Girl.

Yeah, this logo is EXTREMELY common to find on Universal DVD’s (even Universal Television shows like Curious George, Friday Night Lights, The Office, The Land Before Time, and others have this). Fox is common, but Summit is uncommon as Summit used this logo only on DVD’s, not on BD’s however.
The only times Lionsgate had this logo were Saw II: Special Edition and The Last Unicorn: 25th Anniversary Edition.
From September 5, 2006 until March 27, 2007, this was paired with the 1997 Macrovision Quality Protection logo from United 93 to Children of Men. (My DVD’s of Curious George and Accepted has this manner)
