Peak Blossom
Thank you to Mr Newcombe of this parish for the unintentional reminder that I should be shooting blossom at this time of year, rather than tramping about on the moors 😆
What a divine morning this was, the hawthorn (or blackthorn!) blossom is just spectacular at the moment. This was my second visit, the previous morning not quite giving me the light I wanted. I travelled there with zero expectations. Forecast told me it was too windy for mist. Fortune certainly favours those stupid enough to go to sleep at 5pm to be up for sunrise 😂
I'll catch up with everyone shortly. Feeling a bit knackered today, went out for a full day of climbing after this. Had a bit of a 'mare when my I got excruciating cramp in my thumb and couldn't straighten it. Not ideal when you're leading 😂 I lowered off in shame.
