Y Garn and Done It
I might not have got much direct light on my recent Y Garn jolly, but the Nantlle Ridge and Mynydd Mawr certainly did! You can just about make out the Eastern Arete on t'other Y Garn, which I climbed with 73 year old Pamela at the end of last year. An interesting jenga-esque alpine style ridge. Sure I did some 5a moves trying to avoid all the huge vibrating perched blocks 😳 Topped off with a "sting in the tail". C'mon, that's not V Diff! Fortunately I had plenty in hand and we topped out just as dusk fell. Can't beat a good Pamela adventure.
Got a bit distracted there, sorry!
