Visiting the Beavers

In Gatineau Park, just north of Chelsea Quebec, Meech Creek runs from Meech Lake north and east to the Gatineau River. As it courses through a long winding valley, it traces the line of the William Cross Homestead. Where a trail crosses the creek, there is a small wooden bridge overlooking a massive beaver dam. These shots were taken on that site on a very rainy day in October.
