The successor to the 500K type was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1936. The 540K type was fitted with an 8-cylinder in-line, overhead valve (OHV), with connectable supercharger. However, it had technical characteristics comparable to the 500K type. The engine power went from 115 hp to 180 hp with the compressor. The maximum speed was 170 km / h.
