Dear Chandana, we sing this song very often when friends and family have a birthday, for example, and I also sang it with my students for a fellow student who had a birthday. Today I want to send you this song with a bouquet of roses to Sri Lanka.

I couldn't find anyone who wrote the lyrics and composed the melody on the internet.

Liebe Chandana, dieses Lied singen wir sehr oft, wenn zum Beispiel Freunde*innen und in Familie jemand Geburtstag hat .Ich habe es auch mit meinen Schülern für einen Mitschüler, der Geburtstag hatte, gesungen. Heute möchte ich Dir dieses Lied mit einem Rosenstrauss nach Sri Lanka senden.
