Pandemic Piano Lessons 121/366
Cheers to our self-proclaimed "not techy" piano teacher who figured out Zoom in order to do virtual piano lessons with her students.
We rigged up a little platform for the iPad, and a way to tilt it just the slightest bit forward so that the teacher can see both my child at the piano and her fingers on the keys, and --it might be a little less than best case scenario, but-- it works!
When I grabbed my camera for this shot, I realized how thankful I am for the gift of the daily routine of the kids practicing piano for weekly lessons... and for our teacher's fresh face and kind voice in our home each week, even if it is on a screen.
I'm glad to have this shot. I feel the day-to-day life of quarantine and what it looks like for our family in this moment from our day.
Also; I am realizing (as I note in the comments) that I don’t think I like that “blessed” sign...
(I really enjoyed Jenny's and Erin's discussion on the podcast about documentary photos during this time. Thank you both! Your words helped me. Thanks!)
