LEGO Dune: Part Two - Paul "Muad'Dib" Atreides & Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen - Custom Minifigures

I've been very excited to see Villeneuve's continuation of the iconic science fiction novel by Frank Herbert.

 

I. Paul Atreides

I’m very excited to share with you my custom LEGO updated Paul Atreides minifigure based on Dune: Part Two. I was already very fond of the original version from the first Dune film, and all I’ve done is add some new fabric accessories, some alternate heads, and some other cool things.

 

Paul dawns a custom hairpiece from @firestartoys. It’s way more accurate than the old one.

 

No modifications were made to the Crysknife. I’m still very proud of the design I painted on it.

 

All and all, I’m very happy with these upgrades, they really elevate the minifigure.

 

II. Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen

Here is Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen. This is the only other figure I wanted to make.

 

I based a majority of the figure on the McFarlane Toys action figure. Additionally, his guest appearance from Call of Duty: Mordern Warefare 3 (2023) of all places was a big help, too.

 

All of the armor plates are either sculpted or made from e-tape.

The Black cape is custom made from black fabric, but it's nothing fancy.

The head is fully painted. It somewhat resembles Austin Butler, I'd say.

I do like the blades that I've made for him. They are modified custom LEGO elven swords from MuseBricksArts on Esty, and I decided to use these because I really like how they resemble the curves of the blades in the film.
