LEGO FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S (2023) - Custom Minifigures
So excited to make these figures for the long-awaited premier of the Five Night's at Freddy's Movie produced by Blumhouse Productions alongside Scott Cawthon!
I.
Here’s Freddy Fazbear, star of the family restaurant and namesake of the franchise!
As you can see, there is a ton of sculpting on this figure, from both sides of the torso, to the custom toes.
The bow-toe is custom fabric material.
The head base was from those knock-off FNAF minifigures that you’ve probably seen floating around. I gave it an entire face-lift, including creating an entire bottom jaw with dry-sculpted teeth.
I’m very excited to show you the rest of the the Fazbear crew!
II.
Here is my favorite of the mascots, the iconic blue rabbit.
The sculpting and the bow is identical to Freddy.
The head is also from the knock-off figure, but I sculpted my own mouth. I like the ears a lot.
Bonnie is ready to rock and roll as he is equipped with his modern red guitar. The triangular body was sculpted, the red layer is 3D, and I even managed to paint the strings across it, the guitar also has fabric straps that realistically hang off of Bonnie’s shoulders
Everything was painted by myself.
III.
Here is Chica the Chicken and her pal, Carl the Cupcake.
I think in particular, the head mold on her is really good.
I also really like the sculpted bib. The “Let’s Eat” was tricky, but also, super fun to paint.
Chica has different feet than the other figures, but other than that, she has an identical body sculpt.
IV.
Here is Foxy the Pirate Fox!
This is figure design has been a staple for Foxy figures for nearly a decade now, but I kind of regret not making an entirely custom skeleton base for him. Either way, the painting and sculpting is still nicely done.
I actually used the entirety of the skeleton leg pieces, and painted around the areas that still needed to move. The ripped-shorts are made from fabric.
The Skeleton rib-cage peeks through the exposed hole that I cut out of the torso.
The arms are modified, with some visible damage I added by cutting directing into the plastic. They are still rotatable. And no, these did not explode.
The head was heavily modified from the knock-off base. I sculpted the jaw, snout, nose, eye-patch, and even the teeth at the ends of toothpicks.
Beyond that, everything is painted.
V.
Lastly, here is the ghostly Golden Freddy. He’s remarkably similar to Freddy, so I’ll get straight to the character specific head.
I used the same base of Freddy, and I cut off his left ear. The exposed wires are sculpted, and I painted the wires inside the left eye, which I had to cut out
I don’t know what to expect with his character in the film, but I love how he turned out!
Thanks for your support of this quick project!
