Melting Ice Figures

After emptying the icy water from our water butt, I found some very pretty ice crystals inside.

 

This is the first winter I empty the ton in February, but the winter wasn't cold yet so I left the water inside this year. But now we expect some very frosty days so I have to save the ton.
