I have to tell you a story about this creation:
The grain harvest in my region draws to a close...
I always was looking for a nice scene to take a summery picture with bales of straw.
Finally, I found the perfect place. "O wow, That's it!" I thought.
It was a bright sunny day - but we had some visitors, introducing them the area.
I left my camera at home - knowing that I wouldn't stop taking picures....boring our friends.
The next day I went back to this place ( 25 km away), using my bike.
When I arrived there , it was pouring and I faced a heavy thunderstorm.
But I didn't give up....Today (warm but cloudy - weather forecast: some rain)
I went on another bike ride to the same place...well knowing that the farmers will bring in the harvest.
And I was lucky - they just had started to do this..and I could take some images - but not the same ones I would have taken on a sunny day...I will share some of them later on.
So, here's my vision and creation now and I hope you will like it.
I added a soft layer of kk_subtlyyours texture 'Stained Linen' (many thanks to Kim Klassen) and plenty of PSE-work. I was trying to give the image a glimpse of pointilism.
Conclusion: Taking pictures can be very sportive!
