View from the Pleine Morte, Glacial Plateau, Valais (2,927 m)
The glacier of Pleine morte offers wonderful views:
Over the Plaine Morte to the Wildstrubel, left the Niesen, right the Bietschhorn, below the Rhone Valley as far as Martigny and entire Valais high alps chain from Dom to Weisshorn, Matterhorn, Grand Combin and zum Mont Blanc, with the Wildhorn and Diablerets to the west.
IF THERE ARE NO CLOUDS.
In high alps, clouds come and go very quickly. Nevertheless, I hope, you enjoy this image.
If you enlarge the image, you will see another mountain station in the distance. It is the lower-lying 'Violette Express' in the heart of the Crans-Montana ski area.

Umgeben von 3- und 4-Tausendern, bietet das relativ flache Hochplateau des "Pleine Morte" Gletschers wunderbare Ausblicke über die gesamte Alpenkette bis zum Matterhorn und Mont Blanc. WENN keine Wolken hindurchziehen.
In den Alpen geht es sehr rasch, daß der Blick sich öffnet und wieder verdeckt wird. Wir hatten tatsächlich den offenen Blick für kurze Zeit, jedoch war ich zu langsam mit meiner Kamera bzw. genoß ihn einfach...
So man das Bild vergrößert, erscheint -tiefer gelegen und sehr klein-
Die Skistation "Violette Express" im Herzen von Crans-Montana
(Höhe: 2 000 m).
Von hier aus gibt es verschiedene Möglichkeiten und Schwierigkeitsgrade für Abfahrten.
