The Picture is taken from the (beautiful) old Castle high above, overlooking the City.
Croatia is well known as ' the Land of Thousand Islands '...
From the Hvar Harbour one can take a small ferry for some Kuna to visit one
of the nearby Islands or a bigger Ferry from nearby Starigrad to the farther ones.

Das Photo ist vom alten Schloß aus, das hoch über der Stadt liegt, aufgenommen.
Kroatien ist bekannt als das Land der tausend Inseln....
Vom Hafen Hvar's aus kann man für einige wenige Kuna eine der zahlreichen
kleinen Fährboote nehmen, die einem in kurzer Zeit für ein paar Kunas auf eine
der nahegelegenen Inseln bringen oder eine größere Fähre vom Fährhafen
Starigrad aus zu den weiter entfernten.
