Spring is the promise that everything can begin again, letting go and embracing something new.
NOTRE-DAME CATHEDRAL - one of the most iconic symbols of beauty and history in Paris was damaged in a massive fire on April. 15th/16th 2019. A tragedy.
On the night of the fire, France's president Emmanuel Macron announced that the cathedral, which is owned by the state, would be rebuilt, and launched an international fundraising campaign the next day.
Fortunately, It will be restored.
And a miraccle of Nature's bag of tricks appeared:
Notre Dame has housed three beehives on the first floor on a roof over the sacristy, just beneath the rose window, since 2013. Each hive has about 60,000 bees. The 180,000 bees are alive and busy.

Sie ist ein Wahrzeichen Frankreichs, ein bedeutendes katholisches Gotteshaus, ein frühgotisches Bauwunder – eine Attraktion, die jedes Jahr Millionen Menschen anzieht. Doch die Kathedrale Notre-Dame in Paris, in der am frühen Montagabend, 15. April 2019, Flammen ausgebrochen sind, ist mehr als all das: Sie ist buchstäblich das Zentrum Frankreichs.
Fünfzig Meter vor der Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris liegt der Nullpunkt, der Point zéro für Frankreichs Landstraßen. Von einem goldenen Stern im Kopfsteinpflaster aus werden alle Entfernungen in die Provinz gezählt, bis nach Biarritz am Atlantik, Marseille am Mittelmeer und Grenoble am Fuß der Alpen. Zwar ist Notre-Dame nicht der geografische Mittelpunkt des Landes, aber dennoch gilt die Kathedrale auf der ältesten Binneninsel von Paris, umflossen von zwei Seine-Armen, historisch als Zentrum Frankreichs.
Glücklicherweise wird -trotz aller Schäden- dieses wunderschöne Weltkulturerbe wieder auferstehen.

Olivier Latry, einer der vier amtierenden Organisten der Notre-Dame de Paris führt tief hinein in das Innerste der Orgel.
