Winter has finally arrived in the Black Forest.
Almost as the same time as the past year.
...Another image of the European Beech trees
from a place I love so much: The top of the "Freiburg
house-mountain" (altitude: 1, 284 m). The Schauinsland is located roughly ten kilometres south-east of Freiburg's city centre.
The "Schauinslandbahn" was taken in 1930 as the first passenger ropeway in the world on the circulation principle in operation,
it leads in 10 minutes to the topic.
From my Archives, there are still so many
images left.
Although I love skiing and cross-country skiing,
I prefer snowshoeing there if I want to take photos.
